Tulare County has two confirmed cases of 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). There are 65 individuals in self-quarantine.

Tulare County Public Health has followed CDC recommendations to encourage the focus on more common etiologies first (flu or other tests to rule those illnesses out) where testing is already readily available.

There is a total of 1 confirmed case of COVID-19 in Tulare County.

UPDATE: 3/12/2020

The Tulare County Public Health Branch has been informed that a Tulare County resident has tested positive for COVID-19. It is believed that the virus was contracted out of the area, and the individual did enter public areas while showing symptoms.

Tulare County Public Health Officer Dr. Karen Haught has announced that an individual has tested positive for COVID-19 in Tulare County.

Tulare County Public Health Officer Dr. Karen Haught has announced that an individual has tested positive for COVID-19 in Tulare County. The individual visited Southern California prior to showing symptoms.
