Tulare County Public Health is recommending that residents with drinking water intakes that draw water directly from the river not use their tap water for drinking, cooking, showering, or brushing teeth until more information is available.  

On July 16, 2022, we in Tulare County will join the rest of the United States in beginning to use the 988 dialing code. 988 will be the new three-digit number for calls (multiple languages), text, or chat (English only) that connects people to the existing National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is announcing that COVID-19 vaccines are now available in California for everyone ages 6 months and older. To find a vaccine, visit myturn.ca.gov or call 1-833-422-4255.

Held the second Saturday of each month in Visalia, Walk with a Doc is a free community outreach program, which strives to encourage healthy physical activity in people of all ages. This doctor-led group is a fun and safe place to go for a walk, learn about health, and meet new friends.
