Raising Awareness on Suicide Prevention with Kevin Hines

Raising Awareness on Suicide Prevention with Kevin Hines

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness month, a time to raise awareness of the impact of suicide on our community and to highlight resources and support for those who may be suffering. In light of this important cause, the College of the Sequoias is hosting an evening with Kevin Hines. Kevin is a best-selling author, global public speaker, and award-winning documentary filmmaker. In the year 2000, he attempted to die from lethal emotional pain by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. But Kevin survived. For the last 18 years, he has dedicated his life to helping others find ways to #BeHereTomorrow and every single day after that. Kevin's story of hope and healing is life-changing, and we encourage everyone to attend on Thursday, September 5, at the COS Theater (915 S. Mooney Blvd., Visalia 93277), starting at 7 p.m. Register at https://cos.ticketleap.com/kevin-hines-story-beheretomorrow/.
