July 2, 2020 MEDIA ADVISORY: Tulare County COVID-19 Facebook Live Press Conference

County officials will be holding a Facebook Live press conference providing updates regarding COVID-19 in Tulare County. The press conference will cover the latest case numbers, hospital trends, recent closure orders and will urge residents to follow public health recommendations. There will be continued emphasis on the importance of practicing social distancing and not gathering beyond a single household; practice physical distancing of six feet or more from others; wearing face masks and coverings; practicing good hygiene and staying home as much as possible, especially when ill.

The Tulare County Library offers free meals in Summer 2025 to children and teens, ages 1 to 18, at the Dinuba, Tipton, Lindsay, Visalia, Strathmore, Pixley, Alpaugh, and Earlimart Branches. Public libraries are natural spaces for serving free summer meals to children and teens while school is out.
