April 1, 2021 Public Statement: Every Rural Community Will Have Vaccinations by End of May 2021

Every Rural Community Will Have Vaccinations by End of May 2021

The Tulare County Health & Human Services Agency (HHSA) is on schedule to visit each rural community to offer vaccinations for COVID-19 by the end of May 2021. There will be multiple opportunities in each community to obtain a vaccine.  Whether you have had COVID-19 or not, remember that a vaccination is an important piece to your overall health as well as to the health and well-being of Tulare County.

Having access to and availability of COVID-19 vaccines is challenging. HHSA and its many community partners are committed to knocking down barriers, like extended travel or lack of cell/internet connection or correcting misinformation.

Coming soon will be a calendar of vaccination opportunities. Here you will be able to plan and find a location/time that best fits your needs.

Please remember to bring all household members that are age appropriate to be vaccinated! We want to ensure our entire community is immunized against COVID-19.

Help us spread the word and partner with your community members about this exciting news on vaccine clinics in your area. At the end of the day, overcoming any hesitancy is about us listening to you and ensuring we move forward together. Please contact our call center at (559) 685-2260 for further information.
