Volunteer or Internship Opportunities - Public Health Branch

Tulare County recognizes the need to support the development of the Public Health workforce through volunteer and internship opportunities. The Public Health Branch is made up of a diverse workforce that is passionate about serving the community and offers a variety of pathways to work on public health initiatives, such as: 

  • Maternal, Adolescent & Child Health 
  • Nursing 
  • Prevention Education Programs 
  • Health Care (Primary/Specialty, TB, IZ) 
  • Laboratory Operations/Microbiologist 
  • Emergency Preparedness 
  • Epidemiology and Disease Investigation 
  • Environmental Health  
  • Administrative (grant writing, budgeting, etc.)
