A Medi-Cal Presumptive Transfer (AB 1299) is the prompt transfer of the responsibility for providing, or arranging for and payment of, specialty mental health services from the county of original jurisdiction to the county in which a foster child resides.

To notify Tulare County Mental Health Plan (MHP) of a presumptive transfer email MHChildrensAuthorization@tularecounty.ca.gov.
