Tulare County has the ability to respond to individuals in the community seeking our services. We aim to inform the public at large how best to address your needs when you find yourself or a loved one in crisis. If you or your friends and family need services, call 988 (1-800-320-1616 for Behavioral Health Services and 1-866-732-4114 for substance use disorder services) available 24 hours day. A listing of behavioral health providers can be found using the Mental Health Provider Directory. A listing of substance use disorder providers can be found using the Substance Use Disorder Provider Directory.

Committees — Open to the Public

Mental Health Quality Improvement Committee (MH QIC)
The Tulare County Mental Health Plan (MHP) is committed to providing quality, culturally competent mental health services. MH QIC focuses on identifying areas of concern and improving quality of care, access to services, and consumer satisfaction throughout the mental health system of care. Consumers and their families are encouraged to participate.

Meets: 4th Wednesday of each month, 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Meetings are currently held virtually.

Adult Systems Improvement Committee (ASIC)
ASIC is a subcommittee of the MH QIC and monitors the activities of the Mental Health Plan’s (MHP) Adult System of Care, including issues that influence adult system of care programs, services, and trend analysis.

Meets: 4th Thursday of each month, 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Meetings are currently held virtually. Consumers and their families are encouraged to participate.

Children's System Improvement Council (CSIC)
CSIC is a subcommittee of the MH QIC and monitors the activities of the Mental Health Plan’s (MHP) Children’s System of Care, including issues that influence children/youth system of care programs, services, and trend analysis. Consumers and their families are encouraged to participate.

Meets: 1st Thursday of each month, 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Meetings are currently held virtually.

Substance Use Disorder Quality Improvement Committee (SUD-QIC)
The Tulare County Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (DMC-ODS) is committed to providing quality, culturally competent substance use disorder services. SUD QIC focuses on identifying areas of concern and improving quality of care, access to services, and consumer satisfaction throughout the substance use disorder system of care. Consumers and their families are encouraged to participate.

Meets: 3rd Tuesday of each month, 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Monthly meetings are currently held virtually. Quarterly meetings are held in person.
