Mireya Anaya is a Division Manager for HHSA’s Child Welfare Services (CWS). She has worked for CWS since 2001 and held several positions within this time frame, including Policy and Program Specialist, Supervisor, and social service worker. She was part of the Continuum of Care Reform (CCR) implementation efforts for Tulare County and participated in the CCR CFT workgroups, along with other workgroups that supported the implementation of CCR for Tulare County. Mireya was part of a group that wrote the Foster Parent and Relative Recruitment, Retention, and Support (FPRRS) funding opportunity for 2015–16.
Mireya also teaches Parent Approval Training to resource parents to aid in the completion of the Resource Family Approval process.
Mireya holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California Riverside and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Fresno.
