Courtney Sallam is a Division Manager for HHSA’s Child Welfare Services (CWS). She has worked for CWS for over thirteen years and held several positions within this time frame, including Program Manager, Supervisor, lead social worker, and social service worker. She is registered as an Associate Clinical Social Worker in pursuit of licensure.
Courtney also teaches Parent Approval Training to resource parents to aid in the completion of the Resource Family Approval process. She specializes in program development, improvement, and implementation and has served for several years on different committees regarding improvement within Child Welfare and Probation, and has worked in partnership with UC Davis in developing a Child & Family Teaming curriculum.
Courtney holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in social work, both from the University of Fresno. She is an adjunct professor for social work studies at Fresno Pacific University.
