Tulare County HHSA has outlined reporting requirements along with outpatient testing procedures for county providers. Prompt reporting to public health is essential to support clinical decision making and inform any post-exposure measures for staff. We greatly appreciate your partnership in this critical effort and thank you for all you do to protect the health and well-being of your patients. 

The clinical and epidemiologic situation is rapidly evolving--providers are encouraged to review CDC and CDPH links below or call the county communicable disease office to ensure the most up-to-date information.

988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline Is Coming to Tulare County

On July 16, 2022, we in Tulare County will join the rest of the United States in beginning to use the 988 dialing code. 988 will be the new three-digit number for calls (multiple languages), text, or chat (English only) that connects people to the existing National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

Held the second Saturday of each month in Visalia, Walk with a Doc is a free community outreach program, which strives to encourage healthy physical activity in people of all ages. This doctor-led group is a fun and safe place to go for a walk, learn about health, and meet new friends.
