Well Drilling

Drilling a new well or deepening or destroying existing wells requires a permit. Usually, the process takes about a week, but under the current drought circumstances and the demand for permits, it can take a lot longer. Under the authority of the Health Officer, staff from Environmental Health can assist to ensure accuracy and timeliness of permits processed for the unincorporated areas of Tulare County. Electrical connection and other associated permits may be required by the Tulare County Resource Management Agency.
