The California Personal Responsibility Education Program (CA PREP) provides comprehensive sex education to youth throughout Tulare County, using an evidence-based program model called "Making Proud Choices."  Instruction topics include abstinence and contraception to prevent pregnancy and reduce the risks of contracting sexually transmitted infections. The program focuses on youth ages 10–19 facing adverse conditions or living in a high-need area.
