2024 Walk with a Doc Program

The 2024 Walk with a Doc is a free community outreach program, which strives to encourage healthy physical activity in people of all ages. This doctor-led group is a fun and safe place to go for a walk, learn about health, and meet new friends. There are now two locations: Tulare and Visalia. 

Tulare - Third Saturday of Every Month [Flyer]
Registration begins at 8:00 a.m., followed by a warm up at 8:05 a.m., and the walk at 8:30 a.m., at Del Lago Park, 1700 N. Laspina, Avenue, in Tulare. A health topic will be covered each month:

  • January 20 (Goal Setting)
  • February 17 (Social Connection)
  • March 16 (Reading Food Labels)
  • April 20 (Music & Health)
  • May 18 (Walking & Mental Health)
  • June 8 (Sleep)
  • July 20 (Hydration)
  • August 17 (Yoga & Stretching)
  • September 21 (Environmental Health)
  • October 19 (Children's Health)
  • November 16 (Holiday Grief)
  • December 21 (Winter Fitness)


Visalia - Second Saturday of Every Month [Flyer]
Registration begins at 8:00 a.m., followed by a warm up at 8:15 a.m., and the walk at 8:30 a.m., at Blain Park, 3101 S. Court St., in Visalia. A health topic will be covered each month:
