Tulare County Animal Control has been engaged in the review off all local ordinances that impact the residents of the unincorporated areas (non-city) of Tulare County. No fee changes are being proposed as part of this process.

We will host listening forums with the goal of receiving input on proposed changes to the ordinances. In preparation for the forums, we will post relevant documents in this section of our website to ensure an open and inclusive approach.

At the forums, we will present the proposed ordinance updates, related regulations, and the associated roles and responsibilities. Attendees will be asked to provide feedback regarding the changes, public educational outreach, community engagement, and avenues for collaborative partnership.
