Message from the Director

Welcome to the website of the Tulare County Health & Human Services Agency! Since 1995, our organization, commonly referred to as HHSA, has been an integrated agency, providing a broad range of social and human services. Our programs include traditional categories of County service delivery, such as public health, public assistance, environmental health, child protective services, and mental health. Programs for veterans, those on conservatorship, and for the aging population also fall under our umbrella.

I am deeply honored to serve the County Administrative Office and Board of Supervisors as the Director of this agency; I am privileged to work alongside an outstanding Executive Management Team; I am extremely proud of the committed and talented staff who work tirelessly each and every day to provide services to the residents of Tulare County. And I remain committed to you, the consumers and families the HHSA has the pleasure to serve.

Our website offers current information on services, locations, and resources. As you browse our website or look for a specific service, please let us know if you have any questions or suggestions. We are here to provide assistance and support to you, to your families, and to your friends.

Jason T. Britt, M.S.
