Tulare County Health & Human Services Agency (HHSA) is dedicated to providing the news media and residents with relevant news and information about services provided by the Tulare County HHSA.  Our media specialist assists reporters and news organizations with information gathering, information about our programs and services, and requests for interviews.  All media inquiries and requests for interviews for every division of HHSA must be handled through our media specialist. The media specialist must escort all reporters and/or photographers while on HHSA property to ensure patient privacy and compliance with both HIPAA regulations and Tulare County HHSA policies. 

We strive to meet reporters’ deadlines and provide timely responses to reasonable information requests. You can contact our media specialist between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. PST, Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to noon on Friday. Contact for business hours is (559) 624-8007.
