At Every Woman Counts, our goal is to detect breast and cervical cancer as early as possible, so affected women can receive timely treatment. The service is offered free of charge to women who have no health insurance, or who have Medi-Cal or Medicare, at our Visalia and Farmersville Health Care Centers. It includes breast exams, mammograms, pelvic exams, and Pap tests. We also provide follow-up services for women with possible diagnoses of breast or cervical cancer, including referral for treatment when necessary.

Finding and treating cancer early means survival. Many women do not realize that if you are 21 years or older you should have a Pap smear every three years, and if you are 40 years or older, you need a yearly clinical breast exam and mammogram.
